I have a party of deaf people checking into my hotel soon. I need to alert them if the fire alarm sounds, is Deafgard suitable for this?

Absolutely! Deafgard would be the ideal solution for this and as Deafgard is a completely wire-free, moveable device you can use it in different rooms. Just follow the instructions in the Deafgard operating guide.

A deaf guest has asked for a wake-up call, what shall I do?

Deafgard has an integrated alarm clock so is able to wake the guest at the time of their choosing.

Why didn't Deafgard react to the fire alarm?

Please check the sound of your alarm. Deafgard will only activate with a fire alarm louder than 75dB.

Another possibility is that the sensitivity may need to be adjusted. Please refer to the instructions or call our customer service team who will be happy to help.

Why isn’t the pillow pad vibrating?

Check that Deafgard is switched on and that the batteries don’t need replacing. Also check that the cable from the pillow pad is connected securely to the Deafgard unit and that the pillow pad is not in the cradle.
