How it works
DorMag Pro is radio-activated, which makes it ideal for noisy environments. The separate controller, ProHub, can be wired directly into any fire alarm system and allows you to monitor all door units from a central hub.
When your fire alarm is triggered, DorMag Pro will release your fire doors to close.
ProHub has optional activation of our Site Manager software, which provides real-time information about your Pro installation at different sites, accessible on any internet device.

My building is pretty large - will a radio system work?
Larger buildings may require a ProExtender which increases the radio signal range.
A radio survey determines how many ProExtenders you need for radio coverage.
Up to 500 Pro devices can go on one network.
What happens if my building loses power? Does DorMag Pro have a fail-safe?
DorMag Pro is battery-operated so would not directly lose power itself in a power cut. DorMag Pro would continue to look for a signal from its ProHub. If your ProHub was to lose power, DorMag would fail-safe up to 4 minutes after losing communication with its ProHub.
Different power variations of ProHub are available, including a battery backup option. This would ensure that in the event of a power cut, DorMag Pro would not lose communication with ProHub.
Our team can advise you on what variation of ProHub would best suit your building. Please give us a call on 01273 320650 and we’d be happy to help.
Does DorMag Pro come with a warranty?

Yes, The DorMag Pro unit does not require any wiring to mount to the wall/door. It runs on a supplied battery pack, which we recommend be replaced once a year. To read more about our Maintenance Plans, click here.
